When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically collects technical data (IP address, date/time, page accessed, browser type) in server logs. This data is used solely to operate the site securely and is not combined with other data. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
If you send us an enquiry by email or through the contact form, we process the data you provide (name, company, email, phone, trade, message) to handle your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or (a) (consent). Data is deleted once it is no longer needed for this purpose, unless a legal retention period applies.
When the form is submitted we additionally process your IP address and the time of submission, solely to prevent spam and abusive submissions. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
For transfers to the United States we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Where required, data processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR are in place with these providers.
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Italy: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). To exercise these rights, an informal message to alex@amstudio.ink is enough.
No usage analytics takes place without your consent. As long as you have not actively consented in the consent banner, neither Google Analytics nor Microsoft Clarity is loaded and no analytics cookie is set. Both tools are loaded only after a click on “Accept”.
Legal basis for both services: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), together with the Italian data protection authority's requirements on storing information on end-user devices. Declining is exactly as easy as accepting: both buttons are given equal prominence.
What is stored without consent: only your decision itself. It is kept
locally in your browser (am_consent_v2) so the question does not reappear on
every page. This value never leaves your device. In addition, your chosen language is stored
(amstudio-lang). Both are technically necessary and are not used for
analytics.
What is set only after your consent:
_ga and _ga_F9EVXKWLSN (Google Analytics, lifetime up to two
years): distinguishing returning visits_clck and _clsk (Microsoft Clarity, lifetime up to one year
and one day respectively): mapping sessions to recordings and heatmapsNo sharing for advertising purposes. Google Signals and ad personalisation are explicitly disabled in our configuration and the IP address is truncated. We use no advertising pixels, no remarketing and no social network services.
Changing or withdrawing consent: the Cookie settings link (also at the bottom of every page) lets you bring your choice back up and change it at any time. On withdrawal the analytics cookies listed above are deleted as far as they are reachable from this domain, and no further data is collected. Withdrawal takes effect from the moment it is exercised and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. Alternatively, an informal message to alex@amstudio.ink is sufficient.
Technically necessary operations such as delivering the page and the server logs (section 2) run independently of this consent and are based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
